Hi all any input would help. I’m being offered this as a trade with a value of about $4000. Not being familiar with these watches I’m not sure what to look for. This comes with the watch only, no box or papers. Was curious if this is real and if it’s worth close to the $4000. Thank you very much

I remember Shumis having red or yellow dials, but I don’t recall that colour…..so I’m eager for. Someone more knowledgeable than I to come along with the facts!

It isn`t no 0001 of 6000 as the fakes usually are

Is that a scratch on the crystal from 9 to 3 o’clock? There’s a fuzzy line there in all the dial pics. If so, I would expect a discount. And they price seems high based on the Chrono24 prices that were attached.

It's not fake, nothing seems out of the ordinary. Be aware though that this isnt a Moonwatch derived LE despite it sharing the same form factor, it's based on and lives within the Broad Arrow family meaning it uses an automatic movement with date window. This one has a following due to the Shumey tie up but the lack of a space connection tend to hold back the ultimate values of the 3303/3313 movement models. All the better for those of us who rate them!

If the sapphire crystal is scratched, be afraid, very afraid. The replacement cost is over $600 last I looked, and there aren't many (if any) aftermarket options. You either pay to change it or suck it up and live with the damage. As such send it to Omega for a service with crystal damage and expect a bill way in excess of $1,200!

Thank you all so much for the replies. I asked about the scratches and was told it just had some crud on it which has been cleaned. Updated pics

Does it give anyone else a John Player Special Daytona vibe?

Not saying that as a bad thing by the way.

As for value, I’d attend to this. Different models fare differently, of course, but if you go to eBay and search *concluded sales* with actual sale prices (as distinct from the unrealistic *asking* prices that you’ll find with a normal search), I think you’ll find that these tend to trade for about $2600 US. I’d be wary of paying any more than that for this watch.

Broad Arrow models sell comparatively low vs Moonwatches but not that low. Well not this one anyhow. I've found a couple of Schumacher BAs like this that sold on ebay in the $3500-$4K range, but I don't see any of these at all below $3,500. And those were Japanese watches, the sold US and Euro based stuff was higher still, in the $4K+ range. Don't confuse this with the multitude of Schumacher Reduced and Date models. Those are worth a lot less. The Reduced (or 7750 based stuff) just isn't in the same league. If the OP watch is healthy with no crystal damage then the OP valuation figure isn't too far out IMO.

ps I note there isnt a picture with the hands in the reset position. It is maybe a good idea to ask for one since you want to know it resets properly.

pps with this being an LE, note the box and papers have a disproportionately higher value vs a non limited watch. If they are missing, you need to lower your estimate of fair value. By as much as 10-20% as they really are looked for when buyers seek out something like this and punish a watch without them. With them $4K is fair, without them I'd be at nearer $3.5K personally...
