Hello folks,

I'm a newbie on this vintage Omega joy and been obssessing with the Pie Pan Constellation for a while.

This Constellation Pie Pan 14902-62-SC just pop up, seller asking ~$1300 which I found too good to be true.

I did some research, the ref and serial number seems to match, caseback, lugs, crown seems alright. Cannot tell if re-dial or not.

May you help to spot if any suspected spot or it's just a steal deal? Much appreciation to the experts on here.

I'm no Constellation expert, but I will be very interested to see what those with better eyes than me might pick up on the dial here. Hard to be certain from one shot, but the fonts look good to me. The one thing that gives me pause are the minute markers: the angles look odd and overall they look a little wonky and "off".

A solid watch, I don't see any issues.

'Omega' plexi is another plus

Case looks great, but the minute markers seem too far away for me? And not quite even? "Certified" looks odd too.

The seconds hand isn’t original as it doesn’t taper at the end (not a big deal). Possible the hour and minute hands have also been replaced as they are lumed, but I can’t see lume on the hour markers in these photos.

On the dial the 6 o’clock hour marker isn’t lined up perfectly with the minute marker. Could just be a weird angle but without higher resolution photos I’d probably lean towards a pretty good redial.

Looks basically ok to me. The sweep hand isn't right and the movement is a bit rough. There may be some superficial dial damage being hidden by the photos. Lume dial and hands instead of onyx inlay. Price seems about right given condition.

Thanks guys, all very good eyes and experience. I'd now say the price is fair to its condition but I've decided to drop this one as I don't want to live with the feeling sth is off with my watch haha. Cheers!

From the shadow on the applied Omega symbol it looks like the symbol is stood off the dial (has a gap between the bottom of the symbol and the dial).
I'm not saying that's right or wrong! But I've not noticed it on any of the others I've seen.

Of course I could be mis-interpreting the photo.
