Help needed. Vintage Chronograph movements

Hello everyone,

I am new to the forum and this is my first post. So a brief introduction is in place.

My name is Koen Simon. I am a 26 year old watch collector from The Netherlands. I have been collecting fine watches since I was twelve. Occasionally I write artciles too.

I need some assistance with writing an article. I am currently writing about the reissue of the 1932 Olympic pocket watch. In this article, I would like to include the history of chronograph movement developments prior to that movement.

As far as I know, it started with the 19"" CHRO in 1898, then the 18""CHRO in 1906 and then the 39 CHRO in 1926. Can someone tell me more about the technical discriptions of these moevements and the differences beween them? Were there more chronograph movements introduced that I missed? What was the production span and numbers produced of each movement? I would love to find out more about these early movements. Any help is very well appreciated.

Thank you all very much in advance. Have a lovely Friday and a good weekend.

Kind regards,

Koen Simon
