Does it really matter? If it's stamped you need to assume it's a valid AD. Is the date clear, that's the important thing if you ever need service under the warranty.

Glad you asked this. Does omega service centre care which AD (or not) stamped the card? Or as long as it’s stamped, dated with serial number, they will consider the warranty valid?

I seriously doubt a non Japanese service center is going to verify the Japanese dealer on the card. Much of this registration is now done electronically so it may already be in the system. As long as date and serial number is present you are good.

FIY: The google translate app for iOS and Android can use the camera and translate any written text. I also get the "whitehorn" result.

A general question about the warranty cards. Is the stamp on top of the tape or underneath? My first guess is it's on top of the tape as the plastic card surface won't take the ink very well.

Some Japanese greys put their own stamp on blank cards and filled the date. Picky OB/Service Center won't honor the stamp. I've seen this happen once when a friend tried to authenticate his Tintin at an OB. They say it's legit Tintin in their database. But the stamp is not AD, thus cannot honor warranty. But to my knowledge this is one of the pickiest OBs in the city. My friend didn't mind, kept the watch. It was NOS Tintin.
If you want to be sure, need to check to local OB/Service Center.
