What’s your best guess from your research so far?

I have no idea, when I first got the watch about 30 years ago I had it serviced and the guy gave me all the details, but I have lost them, I can remember 1960 as the year it was made.

After 30 years, it's due for another service and you can get all the details again. 😀

The reference number is written inside the case back, so it is trivial to find out when it is serviced, or when a watchmaker does their initial check.

I’m sure your local watchmaker/ jeweller will remove the case back to enable you obtain this information.

That watch is likely a front loader, so removing the case back is not an option. Take it to your watchmaker.
