What do I tell her?
That you're not spending $10,000 on a watch that uses the same battery found in a $10 watch at WalMart. Or an Invicta (sorry Dennis).

For that kind of money, there should be something innovative about it other than diamonds on the bezel.

But I also realize that arguing with a woman about fashion is pointless. You'll lose either way.

To be fair, as soon as she looked at it the salesman knocked £600 off. I think he was expecting me to be bowled over by the potential bargain...

Well the fashion in HK is for all the tiny little (rich) Chinese girls to sport Rolex Daytonas, which look huge.

......and the stainless version is only good for the gym......

My sister in law actually rocks the exact same model D series 116520 white dial Daytona I wear, looks hot on her!
