Help!! My stars are disappearing (Constellation)

I was wondering, can I get the gold insert in the back of my Connie replaced? I don't want to not wear it But it's really wearing down.. I think I'm down to about three stars now.. It seems once they start wearing they go really fast 🙁
I wouldn't care but I don't want it to not be worth anything because people think I have it to a trigger happy watchgrinder.

You would be hurting the originality of the watch and having a pristine looking emblem on a worn back will raise even more questions.

Well I would probably wear down the new one too I wear it all the time. It seems like a really bad idea to put it there.

Put a clear case back sticker on it, that should make its last a lot longer.

Put a clear case back sticker on it, that should make its last a lot longer.

I've been thinking about putting a case back sticker on a few of my vintage watches (35-36mm).........Can anyone point me in the right direction where I'd buy a few, I'm in the UK.

I'm not really sure.. I know it's from 1956. Here is the front.


You guys are hilarious! I had to check it to make sure I wasn't down to two stars. Some kind of voodoo is going on.. Pretty soon what's the point of having a observatory looking into the abyss.

3 is all good 😀 but yes you need the sticker or it will soon be nil if you want to wear it daily. Value of time I guess

I did look here as an option a while ago but thought I might find somewhere else that allowed a smaller purchase amount as I only need a few.........better start looking again👍
