It looks like it has lume only on the hands, so a single T would be correct.

Better pictures are needed to confirm, but I think the dial might be ok.

Genuine dials are seen with a single T. The theory about this meaning lume only on the hands has been debunked as many dials are with single T’s have lumed hour markers and hands. In fact it’s very questionable whether lume on only the hands was a factory combination.

I've always wanted a pie pan constellation, but have given up the dream (for reasons this post illustrates). The ones that are available are in poor condition, overpriced, or both.

Hi, thanks for all the replies here are better pictures also from research i did this is what i found:
Omega Constellation (Ref. 168.004, ~1966–1967)

  • This model is from the final years of the pie-pan era, with the classic “dog-leg” lugs case design that Omega recently reissued.
  • It likely houses a Caliber 564 automatic chronometer movement, common in Constellations from 1966 to 1969.
  • The dial says “Swiss Made” without the "T" - which is uncommon for late '60s models, but not impossible, especially if the dial was manufactured without lume, as appears to be the case here (no tritium on hands or markers).
  • The case is gold-capped (a thick layer of solid gold over steel), not solid gold, and the caseback medallion is likely 18k gold, which is original for this reference.

Your description doesn’t match the pictures.

1. The dial doesn’t say “Swiss made”, it says “Swiss Made T”.

2. There is tritium on both the hands and hour markers if you look closely.

The watch is a gold capped 168.005 (not .004)

IIRC the gold cap, bezel and medallion are 14k gold.

It’s not easy to tell the age of the watch just by looking at it - or the movt calibre.
You would need to see the movt to be sure.

I also think the case is a bit soft and battered for that asking price.

From the pics the dial looks ok to me.

... in any case, it's just a bit too expensive for what it is

Are you specifically keen on gold (capped) ?

Because the 'research' he did was just running the image through an LLM, and the model didn't pick up on these details.

The tells in his response that he used AI, are: the random bolded words, the bullet pointed answer, and the use of 'em' dashes... all major red flags that something was created using ML

Just what a AI generated response would say dissing a human response

Circular Logic is so cool

either way, the price is 3x too much but dealers got boat payments, too.
