Hi! Last year, ive discovered the movie 7 years in tibet and felt in love with this chronographe. Its impossible for me to find the exact référence of it. My dream is to find it, and hopefully buy it someday.

The one in the Omega Muséum is not the right one, it dosent have numbers on the dial. Also, I found lot of similar one but not exactly the same. Often with the number 6 not completly drawn.

If you have any clue, anything that could help me, you would make my day, and my journey to find my dream Watch

Ref 2465 with Arabic numerals.
Looks similar but not the one… but thanks!

The first picture is 2465 with Arabic numerals. Hands are not the same and also, subdials have less number then the one I am looking for.

The second picture is the closest i have found, but no informations, only a picture.

101.009 looks correct with the hand set.
curious if its a true dial for it at some point or it was swapped, redialed or a combination.

The thing is that the 101.009 seem to be from the mid 60. In the movie, this watch was given by the father of one caracter before WW2 beggins.

A bit strange…

On the picture from the movie, it seem that we have two Numbers underneath the number 6. And below the botom one, I think I could see a dark thing that gould stand for « swiss » or « swiss made ». But the space occupied by this dark part seem to be the same as the Space occupied by « Swiss » on the 101.009

OP, each reference came with multiple dial and handset variations. You can't identify a reference using the specific dial layout. That's simply not how it works.

The reference will be determined by the case size/style (and obviously the movement caliber, which you can't see in the photo). Once you have identified the reference in that way, you would need to decide whether you need the exact same variant, or if another variant of that reference would be satisfactory. Keep in mind that a photo of a watch from a movie may not actually represent a legit variation. It very likely could have been put together for the movie, or the dial could have been repainted to make it look fresh.

I am looking for a specific case and dial, so looking for a Watch that looks similar to the picture seems to be the only way

With those quite slim chamferred lugs it looks like a 2278 with a wrong hand set to me.

I hope this does not turn into a thread like ; do you know this logo ??

Many movies use prop watches, like James Bond and these ;

  • Drive (2011): Ryan Gosling's character wears a custom, fake Patek Philippe chronograph. The prop master built a replica that did not match any real Patek model to protect real inventory during violent stunt and blood scenes. [1, 2]
    • Non-Stop (2014): The co-pilot wears a "fantasy" Patek Philippe. The design resembles nothing the luxury brand ever manufactured. [1]

  • Don't Look Up (2021): Jonah Hill's character wears what appears to be a multi-hundred-thousand-dollar Richard Mille RM052 Skull Tourbillon, which watch experts quickly unmasked as a prop replica. [1, 2]
  • Undercover Brother (2002): The protagonist sports a modified Breitling Crosswinds equipped with a completely fictional, gag feature that shoots hot sauce from the crown.

So it may not be a "correct" watch at all ?

If cal 33.3 fits the timeline, this is a ref 2388 and comes close so maybe search on the caliber.

Wrong pushers for a 33.3. They had either olive or waterproof.

Those are oval pushers, but not olive ? Are olive pushers just bigger or is there more ?
