Help me design the best watch strap on the planet...

Hello all,

I'm currently about halfway through the design of a new type of watch strap. Simpler, lighter, more comfortable and more secure than other options. I would absolutely love some feedaback on certain aspects as this will help me cater the product towards the needs of the community.

Ive created a survey, which you can find here. I would appreciate it very much if you filled it out.

Thank you so much,
Ely

I included the full length link at the bottom, You'll see it brings you to a google form survey. I'm not sure how else I can convince you that it's not a phishing scam. Perhaps if someone reading this that has filled out the survey can attest to this?

Sounds interesting, do you happen to have images of any early prototypes or designs?
This is an early render of the product made in blender. I hope you like it.

Lots of questions! I didn't complete it, but I like elastic straps and would be happy to see more variety in the market.

Hey thanks for the response! Do you think I should remove some of the questions?

My inclination would be to ask the most important single question where the data is actionable (maybe 2), provide a single short-answer area for comments pro or con, collect the email address, and then use branching in Google Forms to allow people to fully fill out the rest on a following page or just submit.

Also, think about the quality of the data you are going to get: don't ask people how much they would be willing to spend on a product they've never seen; instead, ask how much they've spent on straps in the past. This is a better indicator of viable prices.

Reminds me a little of Spigen's Lite Fit band for the Apple Watch Ultra.

Yes they are somewhat similar! I have to say I actually really like the apple watch😁. Never owned one but they do look cool in my opinion

I think you are more likely to get engagement if you spend some time introducing yourself and participating in the community as a member, before performing your market research.

A very fair observation. If it makes you feel any better I have been on this forum for quite a while, and I do read a lot of the posts on here, I've just never had the need to make a post before now. Hopefully this is the start!
