Help in identifying Omega Seamaster

My dad passed a while back and when my mom moved recently, she found a bunch of his day to day stuff. This and an Rado was a few of the watches he wears.
I am surprised that the watch second hand starts moving as we picked it up and in the day I have it on, it keeps time fine.
My dad had this for a long time, as I remember this watch from when I was a child.
Our questions is, what model is this and what is the value in its current working state.
Thank you!

It's a gold-capped ref. 166.032 (sparkle dial) I believe. Value probably in the $600-$1000 range depending on the actual condition, looks a bit worn.

It does show wear!
My father was a detective and was in the force for 13 years, this was one of his daily wear.

Thanks! I’ll tell my mom and see what she wants to do.

yes it's a gold capped 166.032 with original bracelet.
It's also a rarer version without lume and correct hands which look really nice.
I'd expect it just needs a little clean if it was a daily wearer (don't put water anywhere near it though!)
some polywatch on the crsytal and it should clean up easily
very nice watch 😀 suggest keeping and wearing it if you have any sentimental value and like it
where are you located? expecting close to $1000 for this if it keeps good time and day/date functions (don't change the date/date between 9pm and 3am)
this model changes date by pulling out the crown fully
