Hey everyone,
I'm new to the forum and just picked up this interesting vintage Rodana watch. I'm really curious to learn more about it and would love any insights you might have!
I'm trying to figure out:
Approximate year of manufacture?
Specific model name (if any)?
Any notable movements or features of Rodana watches from this era?
Any general history or interesting facts about Rodana during this period?
I've attached a picture of the watch to help with identification. It has "Rodana" on the dial, along with "Anti-Magnetic" and "17 Jewels".
Any information, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your expertise!
Cheers!

I seem to recall that Rodana was the early name for the company that later became known as Rodania. The company was founded in the early 1930s, so your watch likely dates to that time period. You can read more about Rodania in this thread:

Thank you so much for your feedback! To be precise, I'm specifically interested in learning about this exact model rather than the Rodana brand history in general

Middle of the road generic Swiss watch from the early 1950s. Nothing historically significant about the brand as far as I know.
