The serial number should be on the movement (as well as the movement number). The serial will give an idea of the date the watch was made (within a year or two).

The subdial has a crosshair in the archive whereas the seller has a round subdial. Hmm. Thoughts?

·Sub-second dial looks vertically offset by half a mm, no swiss label on the bottom of the dial, omega label looks flaky, though that could be because of the blurry photos. Run away OP.

·The lettering is yellow paint where it should be 'gilt' ie. the underlying brass colour showing through the black layer on top. The type of subdial markings is only used on sunken subdials, it should have a crosshair instead.

·Good eye. I have checked the ref number and indeed what pops up is the crosshair subdial.
