·My Father recently passed away and had in his possession a small collection of watches that I am trying to identify. This particular watch I can't find anything that looks like it either here on the forums or generally on the internet, but my knowledge of these things is not great!
I have checked the seria number database which suggests the dates between 1939 and 1944, which could make sense as I beleive this watch passed to my dad from my mums, dad who was born just after WWI and served in WWII.
The strap is a leather Omega strap well wor, but I suspect its not the original.
There are scratches on the face around 1 O'Clock.
I can't get any good pictures but there are several scratch marks on the gold back apart from the stamped number and hall marksl, one seems to be R353, one seems to be KP47P with AS419 under that. also 10778 with RB under that. 3480 and LS/664P final scratches KB 352.
Scartches are difficult to see even using a loupe, the light needs to be in the right direction. I'll try and get some better pictures.
