Help Identifying Vintage Certina Watch (K.F. 320, Swiss Made, 15 Jewels)

Hello,

I recently came across a vintage Certina watch, and I would like some help identifying its model and history. Here are the details I have:

• Markings on the dial: “K.F. 320”, “Swiss Made”, and “15 Jewels”
• Brand: Certina
• It’s a manual-wind watch (I believe)
• I’ve attached photos of the watch (front, back, and movement).

Could anyone provide information about its production year, movement, or value? Any insights or resources to learn more would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

This is definitely not Omega..

During the 1930's a man called Charles Hertig established and began the selling of watches in Portugal.
He manufactured watches under the brand Hertig and caused a popularity of them throughout Portugal.
Hertig would go on to rebrand specific Certina watches by using Certina Swiss-Made movements in their watches.
Somewhere between 1930 to 1950 Hertig started used several Certina movements in their watches - included KF320 which is in this watch.

Nothing special.. Search in the Net for Hertig wristwatch.

There is not much more to tell you about the watch than you have stated in your original post. Vintage? Could be late 1940s or early 1950s. Gold plated base metal case in decent condition. The K F movement has 15-jewels, and is not shock protected. The dial and the ratchet wheel on the movement tells me this watch is a private label, or contract watch. The Hertig name likely being the name of a retailer. A decent, but very basic manual wind movement. A quick search of eBay completed auctions will give you an idea of what the market place deems values of similar watches to be. Be sure to research completed auctions, not auctions currently active. Asking prices usually determined by owners, and selling prices determined by buyers. As an aside, I’d say about $150.00.

What is it about the title of this thread that screams "ask about any and all watches here"?
