https://omegaforums.net/threads/vintage-omega-posting-guide.383/ Please take a look at this guide, it will help us to help you! Looks ok so far, but had to put on my sunglasses to reduce the glare, so can't tell much.
This is the only photo I have. It is part of an auction lot and I can't get any more info. I don't think the seller has any clue since it wasn't even mentioned in the description. So, I was just trying to get an idea of its approximate date and whether they made a non-seamaster like this. Edit. After continuing to search, it appears that omega indeed made seamasters in the late 50s early 60s that did not say seamaster. https://www.ebay.com/itm/RUNNING-Omega-Seamaster-ref-14774-SC-62-circa-1962/254623968712Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network https://sansomwatches.com/product/omega-seamaster-automatic-14773-sc-1-caliber-470-year-1958/ https://wannabuyawatch.com/product/omega-seamaster-ref-14774-sc-62-circa-1962/ Or at least they are being advertised as seamasters.
It would help us if you posted decent photos of each of the three watches. Numbers one and three are so outrageously expensive, I haven’t spent any time looking at them beyond a cursory glance The second is reasonably priced if it isn’t a redial. It says it has an ‘original' dial and I might well take a chance on that given the price. The crystal is signed, which is good The hands aren’t 'arrow' hands but 'alpha lance' hands.
I do not know if I remember well but I think some earlier models of Seamaster had written only on the case back the word "Seamaster"
That's correct. Not all 1960s Seamasters have "Seamaster" text on the dial. This is especially true of early 1960s models. There are several OF threads on this. Here's an example - my 1962 Seamaster 14389. Hippocampus engraving and "Seamaster" on the case back, but no Seamaster text on the dial.
