Hi,

We are servicing a TV-case 176.005. There seems to be a sort of tension ring missing (Outer Ø ≈ 32.45mm).

My problem is that I don't know what it is called, and I cannot find it mentioned in Omega's parts register.

Can anyone help with a name or part#?

Thanks for looking.

Think outside the Box. Every maker, who used caliber 5100, had that ring to pres down the movement. Orfina Porsche Design for example ...

Hi, I am new to the forum and just posting something for the first time. I was wondering if someone out there could help me find a source or has parts available for an omega 176.005 with silver dial. I am looking for a replacement silver dial, a silver tachymeter bezel and the square white gasket. Thank You very much

Fortunately/unfortunately, that is the “fun” of the vintage watch hunting hobby. You won’t find one place that has what you are looking for. It’s possible that no place (except Omega—and sometimes even they don’t) has the parts that you are looking for. You have to check ebay often to see what pops up and/or run down the list and call up watch parts businesses and dealers to see if they have parts for sale.

It may take a while and will likely take a good bit of time.
