Help identifying an omega

Hello lovely people.
My cousin collects antiques and other memorabilia. Knowing I share this interest in vintage stuff he frequently shows me when he acquires something. Yesterday being our Independence Day, he showed me a bunch of news papers he had collected that covered the actual news.
One of the papers, the statesman had this omega ad which caught my attention.
I was wondering if some can point out the model. I am sure I have seen this model in forum itself.
Any help will be appreciated. Google search didn’t find me an exact model.
On a lighter note, case cover can’t be opened but I am pretty sure of the Model year 15th August 1947 to be exact.😁

What kind of strap is that?
Good eye, I wondered that myself. Quite stylish for a late 1940s strap. I assume it was leather. The closest example I could find was this groovy strap from the 1960s:
