Hello everyone, first of all, I’d like to thank you for all your help. I was recently scrolling my local Craigslist and I found this vintage Omega seamaster listed for 200 usd. The thing is that I’m quite new to the vintage omega world, so I don’t know if 1) what model is the watch, and 2) Is it worth it. It looks like a seamaster deville, but it’s not quite right. I know for a fact the bracelet has been replaced, but the case back and crown look all right, im not sure if it’s been redialed. As of yet the seller hasn’t been able to provide movement pictures. Thank you very much for all your help!!!

Late 60’s on a replacement bracelet.

Great heirloom. Not worth much money.
Really nice dinner for you and 3 friends maybe.

Not a down payment of a car.

It looks to me like a 166.003 model, probably with a 565 movement from the mid to late 60s.

I can’t think of any other model (apart from non-date 165.003) that has that semi-recessed crown and the case profile also matches.

Here’s a photo of my 165.003s and one of the case profile

Yeah, looking at pictures online, the the lugs and the crown look just like the watch for sale. Do you think ti has a redial? As well as if it’s worth purchasing??

Definitely worth buying at $200 and it doesn’t look like a redial to me

Seconded. Expect to pay to have it serviced, but I'd gamble on it at that price for sure.
