I'm Danni, and I'm new here to the forums!
I'm hoping some of you knowledgeable folks can help me.
My dad has this pocket watch and we would love to find out some more about it. Any information on its age, materials, value (purely curiosity, he's not planning to sell) or absolutely any other information would be so helpful, we know nothing for certain about it! If it has a name or model so we could do some more research on it even (forgive me, I don't know a lot about watches, so I can't really say what the movement is either.)
He has had it for about 30 years now. It was purchased at a market for $80 AUD at the time, in Queensland, Australia. It has a little leather pouch to be kept in. My dad thinks it's from the 1930s maybe. He says he had it valued 10 years ago and it was about $400 AUD.
The number on the inside of the back is 6634055.
The number on the barrel bridge is 5659013.
Under the balance it reads 18LOB.
I've tried my best to research with this information but haven't had much luck.
