Hello,

Just discovered this UG forum and I would need your help.
Can someone help me identify what model is it and if completely original?

I am sorry to say that this watch is far from all-original. The dial has been badly refinished.....borderline vandalised, actually. The fonts are just all wrong, the 60s UG logo has been painted on a 30s watch and the sub dials have rounding at the edges typical of redials. The crown and centre hands are later replacements.

If the case back shown belongs with the rest of the case then the serial number places the production of this piece at 1936-38. I would guess that it started out in life as some kind of Compur model.

As said before, it is an old chronograph from the late 1930´s with a restored dial. If you think about buying the watch, I would avoid it.
To many issues with dial & hands. That is a pitty, because the case design is really beautiful and it is a very early model...

Yes I won this on eBay, but I’m gonna ask the seller to cancel the transaction, luckily I’ve asked here before paying. He was describing this as all original...
Thank you for your help!

I sold a solid 14k Uni-Compax on ebay for
$1,650.
