That’s probably my grail Speedmaster. Huge Schumacher fan (check the avy); it was actually his association with Omega and nothing to do with space missions that made me an Omega and Speedmaster fan in the first place. Just can never bring myself to spend $5K plus on one. Maybe some day.

Here's mine. It's a very different piece indeed compared to the moonwatch. The movement is automatic with column wheel chronograph. A very nice speedmaster that departs from the traditional 1861 family.

Amazing!

I had no idea it had a red outer ring second markers. That can’t be seen in the photo.

It’s also is interesting for me as it has the same dial layout, automatic movement and case as an old broad arrow I have (and love). Clearly part of why it caught my eye

Thanks everyone!

that red ring makes it a tad bit derivative of a certain model of a watch that is of course derivative of the original Speedmaster.

still a neat looking piece.

These are piggybacks right? Not 7750 mods?

3301 Broad Arrow Foo so F Piguet derived. Perhaps I misunderstand you but if you are referring to the TinTin, these came first, they date back 15 years or so. What with the red caseback markings it could be said the TT is derivative of this, though it looks more like a Paul Newman Daytona to me. They are pre coax and have the older XXXX.XX.XX model code.

It looks pretty good and I like the Broad Arrow models but there were 10K of this design made so I wouldn’t personally get too excited that it is an LE. The asking price on that ebay one is a tad optimistic. The BA models are normally seen changing hands a couple of grand less than that, though the look and Schumacher link might help. Not really sure why they chose to celebrate M Schumacher by nicking design cues from an unrelated motor racing figure though...

it’s very reminiscent of the Daytona esp the Newman. The visual balance is very similar.
