help getting year of production for seamaster chrono

this was listed as 2021 seamaster. great condition, happy with price. never got original date of purchase. 2nd hand watch shop who are great to deal with said they got it from a good customer of theirs, who in turn said he got it off a guy in Auckland and sighted the 2001 purchase date. yet myself and dealer are void of this docket.

i was keen on 2021 as servicing not needed for ages.

can anyone help with the year of production please, serial no 82702225.

Right or wrong I use this tool: What year was it made? which comes up with 2007 and yet Mywatchbase tells me from a search on the reference number that:
"The 212.30.42.50.01.001 was launched in 2013 and is powered by the co-axial caliber 3330 chronograph movement. It has a black dial and a black ceramic bezel. Reference: 212.30.42.50.01.001"
I'm not being hugely helpful am I?

No idea, but very cool watch.

As others have noted, the 2021 sell date is realistic, as that was just after these went out of production. The watch itself could be years older, though, and sat at the dealer for some time. No movement look-up table is going to be very good for these.
