Hi!

I am starting a SM 300 project, building a new 166.024 (166.0324)

I have the complet case, dial and hands.

I have found a Geneve with a cal. 565 movement

Can you help me with the correct case clamp and case claps screws Omega sparepart number ?

Cousinsuk have 3 different caseclamp spare part numbers and a lot screws spare part numbers for the 565 caliber.

Or is there generic clamps and screws that can be used instead (i will prefer Omega parts)

Thanks
Thomas

If you search on Cousins for case parts by case number, it should give you the answer.

Yes, you are absolutely correct. For some reason, case clamps and screws are listed as movement parts, not case parts. This would be OK if the different clamp references had sizes or a drawing to go with them, but they don't. And they are not cheap, either, so you don't want to just order one of each and use the one that fits.

I believe the clamps are Product Code: OME5501974

Screws are Product Code: OME2255

Both are available from cousins. I bought them from Otto frei, and that's what they sent me.

Clamps are 72205501974 - should be $6 each.

Screws are 1072255 - also $6 each.

I answered your PM about the end links....

If you are working with a watchmaker on this, he/she should be able to answer all these questions...

I will contact my watchmaker when i have all the parts, and i dont think he has access to Omega's sparepart database, his a independent watchmaker and a friend of mine. I guess he will have to contact the local Omega supplier for this info so i thought i would find the info first.

But thanks for your time and answer.

Looks like tdn-dk will be well on his way now. Does anyone have a good suggestion on how to track down a set of original minutes and hour hands with patina?
