    Hi everybody, I'm from Berlin, Germany and new here.

    I hope, somebody can help me. I've recently bought a used Constellation 168.029 with a poor, damaged non-original crown.

    Through my research (ofrey, boley, flume) I found, that the matching crown should be ST42054 and bought this one:

    It's not matching, the opening is smaller than the tubus. Maybe the have sent me a wrong one.

    My question is: can someone please tell me, what is number of the correct crown for this case? I don't have access to the omega.extranet...can someone please tell me the measures of the tubus outer diameter and the opening hole of the crown?

    A thousand thanks!

    Warm regards from cold Berlin

    You likely need a new stem that will fit the crown. Probably can be ordered from the same source as the crown.

    Simple matter for a watchmaker.

    Okay, the stem is looking perfect an both crowns (old one and the not fitting one) are fitting easily on it. The Problem is, that the new crown is not fitting on the tubus of the watch case. The description of the crown from ebay (not knowing from where this description is coming)

    says tube diameter of 1.95 mm. But on the case it is something between 2.1 and 2.2 mm... the opening of the crown is around 2.0 - 2.1 mm...

    sorry, but this is not the problem. Even with a new stem, the crown would never slip over the tubus...

    When they changed and put the non omega crown on? The changed the tube also? As far as i can tell the tube should be 2,0 mm . I think you need to find a new crown tube also . A watchmaker could help you with that . Or i think you can order one from Cousinsuk or Ofrei . If you like to do it yourself ? As to get the right one search on the reference number on Cousinsuk .

    @rogart

    thank you. I've no ideas, when this replacement has been done. As far, as I know, the tube is a fixed part of the case and can not be replaced.

    Anyway, I've already found an other NOS-crown, which is fitting to the case. The one I've bought first, must have been wrongly declared as a ST42054. The reference ST42054 I've already found before in numerous spare part lists.

    The tube is a part you can change if it gets worn or damaged . But good that you find a new crown that fits the watch .

    Yes... but these are the measures, I've been looking for.. thank you!

    According to Otto Frey, it should fit the same, as 42057
