Help for Constellation Pie Pan

Hi everyone,

I’ve recently got into vintage Omegas and I’m looking for my first Pie Pan.
I found this Pie Pan locally for €800. The seller says it has a Cal. 564, and I believe it may be a 168.005.

Does everything look correct to you guys? Mainly wondering about the dial, case and originality, and whether €800 is a fair price.

I’ll ask the seller for photos of the movement and inside of the caseback as well.

Thanks in advance!

Not a huge amount to be honest. I’ve mainly been comparing photos of 168.005s and reading through some Omega Forums threads. From what I’ve gathered, the Pie Pan/dog-leg case, Cal. 564, dial layout and Constellation caseback all seem to fit.

I haven’t been able to verify the movement serial or inside caseback yet, so that’s what I’m trying to establish before buying it. I’m mainly looking for some experienced eyes on the dial/case and whether €800 is reasonable.

I’m no expert on PiePan dials but it looks to me to be a repainted ‘fantasy’ dial but see what others say

Not a dogleg @Koul
It’s a 168.025.
Front loading case.

These came with a great deal of ‘exotic’ dials like this one.

These Constellations are a bit marmite but those who like them are real fans.
