It's interesting how no one has commented on the fact that the spec is altering the writing of 'chronometer' on the dial?

Is that not as big of a concern as I believe it to be? From my understanding it is not a fixable problem, an kind of annoying to look at if it looks that way in person as well...

I don't know what that is and can't tell from the pictures as they're not high enough resolution so, it's not clear whether it can be fixed. Most of the Guys on here are pretty straight so, if @devnull says its not fixable then it likely isn't but, I am sure he will have factored that into the price.

Never buy something you are not sure of so, I think you are convincing yourself.

Here is a high resolution picture of another watch - from this, I can tell a lot but not from the ones above, sorry. I think that will stop anyone commenting on it. Remember that these watches are very small compared to the size of your monitor so that small mark may not be an issue.

I'm the first person to appreciate clean, shiny, and sparkly, but those blemishes on the Constellation don't bother me very much. Imperfections go with the territory when you wear a vintage watch.

It does not look fixable and if @devnull has said that with the watch in hand, then please don't hope otherwise.

You need to zoom out until the dial is about 1.5 inches wide and then see if it concerns you. Look at both of them like that and choose the one that "sings" to you.

To be honest, I'm not sure whether either of these are openly on sale here. If they aren't and you've arranged a private deal between yourself and other members of the forum, then I am not comfortable to comment further on either but, I wish you good luck whichever way you go. I don't think you'll go too far wrong whichever you choose.
