I know, check first and buy next, but I did it the other way around because:

- it was a good price
- PayPal/eBay and American Express have always been good at backing me up on Frankens/returns
- sometimes, fortune favours the brave

This 7150-1 had been languishing on eBay for a while. So I made an offer for E6k, which was accepted, and here it is. My thoughts:

- the dial looks glossy though aged with correct gold lettering
- crowns look correct
- has correct “Swiss made”

but
- hour hand might be an earlier replacement - I thought the lume ought to go all along the hand
- possibly the turning bezel is also a service replacement
- case has probably been polished / prepped for sale (but doesn’t look too bad).

I’d welcome any thoughts, especially if it should be a return or a keeper

Nice!
I would agree that it looks like the case was polished on the front and brushed on the back and sides. Sometimes these cases can have some pitting on them, so maybe that's why the back was brushed as well.
I'm not sure the internal bezel is a replacement. The font seems to look right, and I've seen them with and without the 12-O'clock Triangle having a luminous outline.
I'm not really familiar enough to comment on the hour hand, but the lume looks good, and the great part is that it looks to have it's matching crowns!
I hope you enjoy it!

Thanks - that’s very helpful - I was hoping on balance it might be “keep” rather than “return”, so that’s great news!
