The 42mm Super Compressor case of this Longines diver is in great condition, and most importantly, comes with the original cross-hatched crowns. The upper crown operates the inner rotating bezel, while the lower one allows is to set the time. The dial shows some homogeneous patina; it is almost turning tropical, it has a beautiful look. The lume on the handset is slightly lighter than on the painted indexes. Note that the screw-down caseback has an S engraved and exhibits some light scratches. This is a great vintage diver from Longines, and it looks even better on the wrist.
The service history for the Longines automatic caliber 290 movement is unknown, but is functioning correctly. The early 1960's lume is radium.
