·Hi all, my first post here. Lovely discovering these forums.
I am in the market for my first Speedmaster. I recently came across a 25th Anniversary watch. I am looking for something with some uniqueness. It was between the 20th or 25th anniversary editions, a early 70's 145.022, or a birth year watch (1992), which is hard to pin down.
Anyways, I found this watch online, for around $7,500 USD. It seems like a good price for the model. I have done my research and I think it is authentic, comes with box and papers as well, looks unpolished. Doesn't look like parts replaced, but hard to tell re: case, crown, bezel etc.
One thinkg I was wondering about was that the Apollo XI 1969-1994 Engraving on the side of the case seems thinner than other models I have seen, but I think it was thinner writing on the earlier models, vs the later editions (2500 watches total).
What do people think? Is this an all original, untouched watch?
