Up for sale is my Speedmaster Apollo XI 25th Anniversary LE, all original and full set, just fully serviced, and keeping great time.

It is in excellent condition. The full set includes: original wooden box, bracelet, extra links, the very cool Apollo 11 booklet (A small portion of which you can see in my pics), patch, and the outside cardboard box.

This is one of 2500 that were made in 1994, celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing.

I’m including as many detailed photos as seems reasonable for now, but if you want more, please let me know.

As you can see, the lume has changed to a beautiful yellow patina with no loss of material; the dial is in excellent condition.

The watch was serviced by our own Al, @Archer in 2016, at which time the mainspring was replaced. It has been worn only maybe a dozen times since then.

And then last month after withdrawing the ad with the timekeeping avg @ +20, I went ahead and had it serviced again.

Timekeeping is now superb; +3s/day with minor variance (~3s) in 6 positions.

No parts were replaced, but when my watch came back from the Watchmaker, I now notice a slight defect in the lume of the minute hand. For this reason, I am going to lower the price significantly.

New pictures of the dial to be posted shortly.

Price: $7200 in full, by bank wire. This includes domestic shipping by FedEx insured. For serious inquiries, I’ll be happy to send a video of the watch, or we could set up a time for a phone call and/or FaceTime. For a FTF transaction, I’m in OKC and Denver.. just let me know!

Sale will be final unless the watch is not as described here, in which case it must be returned in exactly the same condition in which it was shipped.

Thank you so much for looking, and BIG thanks to the forum for this amazing venue in which we can enjoy these watches and buy them and sell them!!

***Please see the latest post below for updated, post-service photos ⬇️⬇️ as well! Just to be clear, this watch has never been polished, only a gentle cleaning 😊

Great watch and price, not so long ago a set like this would have been 10k.
If I didn’t already have the same set I would be seriously interested.

So sorry for not updating here, but my beautiful ‘94 LE is still available. It’s been safely packed away while moving.

New Photos forthcoming!

Edit: there was just enough light in the 12° temps of my backyard. These pics were taken after it was serviced because there was a slight loss of the lume during the service; almost impossible to see by the naked eye, but if you zoom in, you can see it about 2/3 out in the minute hand (only spot I’ve found). Another bonus was that he placed the Chronohand back on at about 1/100 of a second off (before) top dead center. However, everything runs incredibly well and smoothly, and quite accurately. 1 to 5 seconds fast by my Timegrapher, and by my timing.
