Glückwunsch zum Fund. I noticed the dial, which seems to be an old service dial? Can't see any step which would be right for a -69.
Also the bezel is a DN90, should be a DON in this serial range. Nevertheless have fun with that watch, it looks cool!

Oui, je suis "mi-breton" - ma mère est née à Nantes (sans discuter si le département Loire-Atlantique fait part de la Bretagne ;-))
Sorry for the late reply - I didn't receive further emails that there were additional postings in this thread. The watch is still in the Omega shop. I expect to have it back by end of next week. I'll let you know about the service details, price and of course more pics.

Perhaps it's time to get (Germany's first?) TFAP (Time For A Pint) pub meet for Omegoids and watch-heads together....any Bavarians in da house?
I vote for the home of the first ever portable watch made...Nürnberg
There is also a HUGE cased watch collection throughout three floors of the Bildungszentrum here where the Chronology Society has their HQ and library... and a nice pub by the river nearby . 😀
