I’m a new member and wanted to say hello. I have appreciated and owned many different Omegas over the past three decades, but have recently become obsessed with vintage Soeedmasters thanks to stumbling upon YouTube videos by @Spacefruit and then it became…a problem. This forum is great, and thanks for all of the immensely valuable information available here for a newbie. Thought I would share a few pics of my grandfather’s Omega which I admired as a young kid and which brings back a lot of special memories every time I wear it.

I totally agree Dan. I associate that watch so much with him, and it carries a lot of great memories with it. Glad it’s preserved and working and can someday pass it on to his great grandson.

Very special, John! Watches really can transcend and connect the generations and this watch is but one example of that.
