Heard of Aximum?

Just reading through the regular watch sites, I'm reading all these references to Aximum as the new high end brand to own, I'm guessing like Hublot was a few years back...

Apparently these things are extremely high end, AP/PP pricing and up, large sizes including 48mm, diamonds, gold, bling, and ETA movements. Are people really buying these?

That watch is so ridiculous that rappers won't wear it - they had to get a bad former reality TV figure to endorse it. Oh well, it could have been worse for the company.... they could have hired Kate Gosselin as their spokesperson.

How do they even get the capital to start a company like this?

There are some makers like Bremont that have appeared and done a magnificent job of competing in reasonable price segments through quality design coupled with reliable ETA movements and quality finishing, but to take an ETA 7750, use 12-13 oz of gold and hundreds of diamonds to make it shiny and then charge VC/PP/AP/JLC money and upwards its borderline criminal.

I'd happily sell someone A Seamaster Pro chronograph and a lump of gold for $20k, far better long term resale potential.

Even their branding/marketing is utter bullshit, starting with the name. Unbelievable. They used the standard Trajan typeface (which is a stock Adobe typeface typically used for fancy movie titles).

Surely nobody would be gullible enough to buy their products, if they're even real.

Perhaps it's all a big joke? If so... well played. 😀

"How can I make a finer watch?"

This is the question that challenged the jeweler. He loved the fine craftsmanship of European watches. However, he was not a fan of their understated charm.

He craved something just as refined, but less prudish. Something with the same reverence, but a bit more arrogance. Simply put, he wanted a luxury watch that truly lived up to the name “luxury.”

So, the ambitious jeweler, armed with his discerning eye for quality, searched for a watchmaker who could fabricate his radiant vision. He found a renowned German company with a rich history of fine watch making, and promptly asked them to reinvent the wheel.

From these not so humble beginnings, the Aximum watch was born. A watch made from the finest materials, for looks as well as function.

Its the case of the Emperor's New Clothes !. If enough influential people are seen wearing these things then the fashion ball starts to roll. Its all about clever marketing and expensive advertising, but we all know these things are just over priced tat !.
Along with the Paris Hilton crap you wont hear of these watches in 6 months.👎

Wait...... maybe not over Jonny Sonbul. That's easily as bad on all fronts.

That's a good point, you can't melt an Invicta, so Aximums have that going for them
