Much of his stuff is refinished. He is careful, apparently, not to call obvious redials "original", but he doesn't always point them out, either.

Serious collectors would be unlikely to shop at his store...

Since I'm not searching in the US, I haven't seen this seller before. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/rare-35-5...353139?hash=item1c78000b73:g:~2AAAOSw0w9YVMvs. Technically this is the original dial as stated. It's also a pretty misleading bit of weasel-wordery, given that it's been (horrendously) refinished but the unwary and inexperienced might still believe it left the factory like this. Not cool!

Nice Series 1 E-Type FHC. A 3.8?. I had a Carmen Red '64 3.8 for 9 years, also had a '65 S1 OTC but that was a 4.2. Great cars.

Very nice. The XK engine is a piece of art, especially the early 60's version.
