Happy to be a new Omega owner

Hi folks,
Bought my first Omega watch today. Wow am I happy. This is the end of a long search of many brands and options. Looking for a dress watch, yellow gold, rich leather, and a nice comfortable clasp. This nailed everything. I kept looking, but just could not find a watch better for me. This has a little pop to it, not as plain as many very nice dress watches, but still keeps a very elegant presence to it.

First visit was a bit overwhelming, and the plastic on it just didn’t help. Also, didn’t have my glasses! So, my return visit confirmed the brushed gold and beveled polished edge was beautiful. They took it out of plastic and let me wear it around a bit... well, that did it. The end. It’s mine now, forever. Very happy.

Also, must add, I bought this at an actual Omega store in So. Cal. The staff was awesome and the vibe in there is very classy and professional, and friendly. Very nice experience. I will certainly be back for an Aqua Terra with the rubber strap. Can’t wear the gold one for everything, will get the sporty one soon.

I like them all, but Omega has won over this life long Rolex guy.

This is an excellent choice, well done. And now I am going to have to request a photo of the caseback. 😀

Nice pick up....Same here, not wearing my glasses and all of the plastics sometimes makes it hard.

I can recite this entire video by heart.
l have watched it that many times.

Crazy to come home, watch it once more, with the watch on my wrist.

I feel very fortunate. This was a long time coming.
Turning 49 years old....in 48 hours.

This is the end of the 40s for me.
Was a great decade, some major bumps, bruises, and hard-earned scars.
But, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Onward!

Congratulations - what a great way to reward yourself, with something that you can enjoy on your wrist every day.

The retro pie pan dial design works beautifully. Maybe we can get you interested in a nice vintage Constellation in due course.....

Congratulations. This is the first Globemaster that, for me, comes very near the old Constellations. Very nice!

Great choice. Probably one of Omega’s most underrated offerings and a really great watch. Wear it in good health.
