Back in my college days in New Haven he was part of a show at Toad's Place which was/is a fairly famous night club that hosted big names in music. We had the pleasure of chatting with him at the bar and he was a real nice guy.

"In 2018, the United States spent $14,400 per full-time-equivalent (FTE) student on elementary and secondary education, which was 34 percent higher than the average of Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) member countries of $10,800 (in constant 2020 U.S. dollars). At the postsecondary level, the United States spent $35,100 per FTE student, which was double the average of OECD countries ($17,600)."

·It isn't a matter of dumping more education dollars into the system, it's how the education system is run. It's controlled, lock, stock and barrel by the left and the teacher's unions. You want better outcomes, get the politics out of the system. You could double, triple what the US spends now and it wouldn't make a whit of difference if the system isn't overhauled to get back to education instead of indoctrination. Just setting the record straight.
