I suspect the is the likely outcome yes. I can't really justify owning the First Omega in Space and the errr Second First Omega in Space if you see what I mean.
Justify? We have a support group on the Forum to help you get over that…

OK so I have a bit of a (first world) problem, I now have at least one too many straight lugs. Sorry for poor quality pics. Light here is very grey now:

Congratulations. I love mine and hasn’t been off the wrist for over 2 weeks. Interested to get your thoughts on it.

If you can swing it, I’d keep all three but if you have to, it’d be the one in the middle for the chop for sure

Yes, but they are just different enough to justify keeping all three....

Had a chance to try the new FOIS today at a boutique. Was wearing my old FOIS to compare.
I allways thought my fois was not very legible, but after a stright side by side comparison, it is almost feels as legible as a speedy pro 🤣
Well to be fair i guess the boutique light dont do this watch a favour.. but i had the impression that the glare is really almost annoying. Not only the dial has this shiny effect but also the crystal adds some reflections, in combination with alpha hands and darker lume it constantly plays with light and loses some legibility.
Its a beautiful watch! Somehow i want to own one, but today i didnt pull the trigger..

You aren’t wrong - it certainly does play with the light but in normal light not half as bad as it seems in the boutique.

I love it - it gives a bit of visual interest which can be lacking (for me) in some others, but the Ed White I previously owned was far more legible for sure.

Dear members,
Just bought it. It is a beauty. The dial is stunning. Love it. After wearing it under different lights I have noticed an issue with legibility. Am Ii the only one experiencing this issue?

Thank you.
I have other watches with a simmilar effect. E.g. a vintage Certina Blue Ribbon, that has a vertically brushed dial and tends to extremely change the colour at different angles. At first i really found it flashy and cool, the first impression was like "wow". But when wearing the watch it kind of started getting annoying with time. and now it hardly gets any wrist time.
I had a simmilar impression with the new FOIS, it constantly plays with light. which is somehow cool at first, but i am afraid it gets a bit annoying with time. i was hoping though that this was only due to the boutique light.

I agree with you. The fact it is constantly playing with light start to bother me especially because sometimes I can't even tell what time it is.

The NTTD is like that also.
yeah probably due to the crystal shape. but at least NTTD has a mat finish on the dial.

Let's face it, we don't need watch to know what time it is. Mobil phone can do it.

Yes, but we do need them, or we wouldn't be on this forum....
Yes. We definitely need them.
