··Color Commentator for the Hyperbole.Ok now caught up. What an arrogant turd! Note that Hamilton has no problem with Roland Murphy (former employee) dropping their old pocket watch movements into his model 222.

This is why F1 is almost totally irrelevant in the USA. The watch company is named after the founder of the City of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, who lived in the early 1700’s.
Lewis Hamilton might be Canadian by birth, but he should know better.
Maybe Lewis Watch Co should sue him for diluting the marketing value of the name Lewis?
From reading the article, it seems that she instigators were the company behind the racing outfit, not Lewis Hamilton himself.
This is a very poorly reported issue (this story just repeats the same information without telling the full story). Lewis Hamilton's marketing company attempted to copyright his entire name for marketing products, some of which may or may not be watches and was opposed by Swatch, the owner of the Hamilton watch name. This (below) is one the few articles I have seen that explain the situation in a more comprehensive and thorough manner....while both parties may be subject to some level of ridicule due to the nature of the issue I am not sure why it has been reported in the way it has in most of the coverage I have read.
