Growing Omega Collection

Good morning. I now have four Omega watches, which probably qualifies as a modest collection. I know folks post photos of their collections but they seem to be placed randomly throughout the Forum. I thought, if it is ok, that I would start a new thread. That said, if my post belongs elsewhere, a gentle nudge will move me in the right direction.

What next? what next? good suggestions above. I'm nervous about a vintage one (if I find one, I will come here for advice--just waiting to find one at a flea market for $7--reference to another thread). My wife said I need to chill on the watches for a little bit, which I interpret to mean a month or two. thanks for the well wishes above--I send the same to all of you.

She's right, you need to settle in with them and take her somewhere nice.

Great collection of modern Omega sport models.
Now, if you are willing to go there, a vintage sports watch and a vintage dress watch. Maybe two of these three?

You Need some rotation discipline because those dates and times are way way way out of tolerance. Or a couple of winders to put out of rotation watches on.
Nice collection and good luck keeping the demons away when there is no need to add to it, but you will.
Note- Just buy a couple of straps leather and rubber and you鈥檒l have all bases covered without the need for dress watches etc etc. It never ends my friend.

Mine has started and I look forward to adding. Lifelong Rolex guy, disenchanted, looked elsewhere...and Omega won. Bought my first a week ago today after a long search. Went back 24 hours later and bought another!

Now, #3 is coming soon. Hard to choose between the Aqua Terra options, so, I will just eventually buy the few I like best. Navy Blue first, black is next. And both will be next to my first choice, the Globemaster Constellation, which I am absolutely loving. So nice.

Your wife sounds very nice, I sometimes get threats.

The simple solution is to offer to share your collection and size some to her wrist. You may find you can buy a few more 馃榾

Might I recommend a Speedmaster, Railmaster or even a Seamaster 300 Master Co-axial if you are looking for a black dialed modern Omega. Omega鈥檚 catalog is so extensive that it would seem to be a missed opportunity to buy two of the same model in different colors. No matter what you decide, you are off to a tremendous start. As far as new model Aqua Terras go, I am partial to the green dial that was recently introduced.

Frank, excellent collection of Omegas. A nice vintage piece would complement these well.
