If 10k US is the price, it might be worth the risk. I may be over simplifying, but the fact that it has the proper crown is a good sign to me. If the watch had a bracelet it would be a clincher.

Absolutely, and a bracelet is what, 2K USD or something.........And as for the price, I don't know what his expectations are yet. They may be higher that that. 10K is what I am toying to bid.

It's a nice looking 105.012-66 CB. The facets are still tight and the case doesn't look to have been polished, the dial is nice and it has a good bezel and the pushers and the crown are original. Assuming the movement and caseback check out, 10K would be a good price.
It isn't easy finding the tritium plots in mint condition...many are discolored, and have lost lume. Also many of the cases have been polished and the line angles are smoothed out. If you consider the price range of 7 -14k, and this watch appears to be closer to the good range, you'd be fortunate to pick up for 10k.

For your comparison, my watch which was in the same price range. Case has been polished lightly, and some lume plots are partially missing, but, although, not perfect, it's a great looking watch in my opinion.

Erection rapidly in progress. The decimal bezel is a stunner but my eyes are not trained enough to judge them. I assume your thin font is good.

It is a service bezel. The DON is in storage. It is a bit loose and can come off with a shock to it.
