is this green dial for real? It's been around forever -- unquestionably overpriced--but I do find it quite beautiful. http://m.ebay.fr/itm/172210453523?ul_ref=http://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/e11021.m43.l1120/7?euid=31e818b7f9044b25b08e8a186b05bfff&loc=http%3A%2F%2Fcgi.ebay.fr%2Fws%2FeBayISAPI.dll%3FViewItem%26item%3D172210453523%26ssPageName%3DADME%3AB%3ASS%3AFR%3A1120&srcrot=e11021.m43.l1120&rvr_id=0&_mwBanner=1Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network edit - posting those pics for ease of reference Interestingly, no shot of the inside caseback posted - out of 12 pictures.
Hour hand should knock the price down a bit. I'd need to see the model reference on the caseback, other than that it looks OK, but horrendously over the $ limit. The green dial for the US market is also unusual, but probably believable.
other than a very rare chronostop, I've only seen green omegas hailing from Mumbai, Manilla and Seoul...
unless they're hiding a franken, which is still possible, sometime folks have trouble taking a clean pic of an old omega inside caseback as the machine marks shimmer so brightly in almost all angles...has happened to me too.
If its the same watch, the owner joined the forum (@kjrpat) and tried to post it for sale here with out playing by the rules. Obviously he didn't get very far. There's another thread about it somewhere, but I can't find it
