granny's De Ville

Good day everybody, I am new to the forum and I greet every member.
Omega is my favorite wtch brand, this must be because my fathers' favorite watch was aon Omega, which I still have of course.
but I want to start to present my De Ville, which was actually my wife's grandmother watch. she got it when granny died and kept it in a box alongside with her Rolex for at least 15 years, then this spring I checked it and imagined how it could look on me with a leather strap instead of the gold bracelet it had on since we got it. I had it serviced too as it was not working since so many years and the guy told me it is a wonderful watch, I definitely agree and as a first post I share it with you hoping you'll enjoy it as well also hope the pictures will be up to your quality expectations, if not please point it out so that I can improve on that aspect), apart from the strap it is all original including glass and crown, and despite the small size I like how it stands on my wrist. I really like the look of this one. The serial number would allow you to date it to a specific year (+/- a bit). Don't be surprised if your wife snakes it back 😁

Thanks, I fully agree and use it a lot as a dress watch, even if gold is not my favorite metal/color, but cannot deny the appearance of this one is so refined and discreet that I wear it without embarrasment
