Barking mad
··Prolific Speedmaster HoarderI am offering up for sale one of my Grand Seiko’s, this particular one is a very nice 6145-8000 from August 1968.
The stainless steel case measures almost 37mm wide by 42mm long and 12.5mm thick with 18mm lugs. The screw in case back has a yellow gold medallion with “Seiko GS” in raised letters which is in excellent condition.
The dial has a beautiful silver/white finish with radial brushing, and simple faceted steel baton markers.
The movement is a 25-jewel automatic hi-beat that operates at 36,000bph, made at the Suwa factory. It is automatic and can also be wound manually as well as the hacking feature.
It will be sold with the custom blue leather strap in the photos.
The watch was serviced just before I purchased a couple of years ago but I have no documentation to support this. The inside of the case back does display a number of service notations.
All functions as it should and it is keeping excellent time.
I am requesting $2,500 USD plus shipping.
As always if you require more information or photos I am happy to provide.
Thank you OF
