Got my first Speedy...but

hey everyone! So I got my first Speedmaster and among my first watches to “start” a collection, as I’m in Grad School still the opportunity to buy does not always come along and so I’m glad this one did as The a Speedy Tuesday is a watch that I’ve lusted after upon first pictures being released. I finally got my hands on one and I’ve been loving it, but the opportunity to acquire one of my grails has come up, a NOS Kermit Sub. Yes I’d have to add some cash to it but do you guys think it terms of being able to buy later down the line, the Speedy to the sub will be easier to acquire? Which should I get now? I don’t mind keeping the speedy as I’m greatly enjoying my time with it but the Kermit has always been my favorite of modern era Rolex, including the current line up. Thoughts? Opinions? The rest of my collection includes a 16600 SD, vintage jumbo Tudor Day date, Rolex precision

Sell the SD for the Kermit.

I assume the Kermit is correct and all papers. The amount of Frankenstein watches out there made from reg Subs is shocking.

Yeah I would agree. NOS means its from 2010 right? Never been on a wrist...their price will tell a lot.
Always like an excuse to post mine. LOL

The ST will be much harder to find then a Kermit.

Hmmm, why do you say that? I should also say that it’s def really NOS but no box or papers coming from a highly reputable dealer I’ve bought from before

@2 thousand ST’s made. The Kermit was made for years. Of the 25 Kermit’s on eBay right now 5 look legit. It’s much easier to get a Kermit then Speedy Tuesday.

Personally I wouldn’t pay $12,500 for new old stock with box and papers in my name if I was going to wear it?!

Buy one for $8-9K and enjoy it because your new old stock won’t be the second you wear it.

Hell I should sell mine for that price LOL

Hey you’re asking for opinions only thing I can do is give you mine not $12,500. Stickers on the bracelet are not worth that much. Again especially if you’re going to wear it

Yes I agree there’s some value in a full set box papers hangtag then you’re talking because 25 years and now no one‘s gonna believe that yours was a new old stock anyway.

A full set even gently used by it.

Put a WTB on this forum. Check Watchbox and watchchest.com They come up

Subs are sports/casual watches, not dress watches.

Eh I've wore my LV with plenty a suit. I see people wearing freaking Apple watches with suits. BUT I do like a strap for with a suit I admit.
Or my new Yacht-Master BLING!

Does that come with enough LSD to make it look good?

When I spend 125000.00 on a watch instead of a car I'm on LSD
