·I got a late night call from my dealer about a UG Tri-compax ref. 881101/1 aka the Clapton watch and if I were interested in it. The picture sent to my dealer by the seller was not so good so it was hard to tell the true condition of the watch. Problem was, there’s another buyer waiting in case I would pass. I just went with my instinct and told them I will make an offer and if acceptable, I will pay them first thing in the morning.
Offer was accepted so I anxiously waited this morning for my dealer to bring the watch. When I finally saw it, I knew my gamble paid off. The overall condition is fantastic for a 50 year old watch. The dial is clear of any blemish. The bezel has no visible chips and the case is unmolested. It also come with the original Feres bracelet. Another great addition to my collection.
A great partner to my other Tri-conpax
