Jaeger LeCoultre has apparently shut down their boutique at the Forum Shopes at Caesar’s Palace. I ordered a strap late last year and after waiting 5 months for an email to confirm they had it, I emailed them. That’s when I received the news the boutique closed in February and that they were working on getting straps out. After giving them a call, they told me they were going to ship my strap for free. Needless to say I thought that above and beyond and received the strap today. So happy camper customer service is still alive.

I received an email from the store manager a couple of weeks before they closed the Forum boutique, I visited them a couple of times around 2015 and they were very cordial and willing to show anything in their shop and to talk watches. I did order a replacement strap for my wife's Gran' Sport Reverso and they did procure that for me with no issues. They used to have a second boutique up at the Wynn Resort but they closed that up quite awhile ago so I'm surprised they closed the second boutique at Caesars which had a really good location. Looks like JLC is now at Watches of Switzerland at Wynn's and at the Tourneau shop at the Forum, but you won't get the selection at these shops which handle many brands.

I think that JLC has found out, like a like of watch companies, that retail is a tough business. They seem to be going back to the old model. Having more and smaller AD’s, rather than trying to do it all themselves.

They’ve closed most of their boutiques. We are down to one in So. Fla. from four at their peak.

PS - Just looked, and the last one is closed. Nearest Boutique is in Atlanta now.

Both my watches came from AD’s … No complaints.
