Good Aftermarket Speedmaster Bracelet?

Hello all!

I tried searching, but I couldn’t find much, and I don’t have enough of a post history to make a thread in the WTB section.

I just bought a Speedmaster Pro Hesalite, but my AD only had it on a leather strap. I am looking for a decent quality aftermarket bracelet. Having just spend $4500 on the watch, and having just had a baby, my wife won’t release the funds to purchase a bracelet from Omega.

I looked at Uncle Seiko, but I want solid links/end links with a push button clasp. I saw one at Strapsco, but I couldn’t find if they are of decent quality.

I ideally do not want to spend over $300 USD on a bracelet.

Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!

I looked at them, but none of the bracelets have a push button clasp, just the friction fit. Otherwise, nice bracelets!

One last place I can think of is watchgecko.com there you can buy the bracelet and the clasp separately. I hope you find it soon. 👍

At your price range your not going to get everything your asking for. The Uncle Seiko stuff is great. Don’t worry about solid endlinks.

What about a customized handmade leather strap? For $50 USD + shipping I know someone who can help you.

My watch came on an omega leather strap with deployment, so I’m covered for leather, but thanks!

Uncle Seiko or Forstner! I went with the latter because of the stretch links. But both are great, budget options. I rather like the lightweight/vintage look and feel versus the modern speedy bracelets.

Uncle Seiko FTW, I have his 1035 and 1450 and they are excellent. I also have a Omega 1171 and 1479.

Highly recommend Forstner flat link bracelet.
Looks great IMHO. Easy to change the bracelet length because it uses screws rather than pins. Super comfy to wear because the bracelet has a few elasticated links in it at the clasp end.

I have both Uncleseiko 1171 and flat link. Good bang for buck imo.

The Forstner "Klip" has a sprung clasp. Great bit of kit, too.

I’ll be another vote for uncle Seiko, his 1450 is great. But I haven’t tried forstner yet...

Have you thought about just a leather band? There are great sellers of custom leather straps one his forum. Much lighter in weight and more comfortable than stainless in my opinion.

I have yet to order one, but my choice would be the Uncle Seiko bracelets.

I slightly prefer the Forstner because it fits my WatchCo Seamaster 300 a lot better.

I personally wouldn't be worried about the clasp. Friction-fit clasps have been around for ages and ages. It can actually take quite a bit of force to spring one.

In another thread started by the OP (Speedmaster Box Variants) he states in a post on June 18th that he sold the leather strap to help pay for a new bracelet, so the issue is over for the OP. With a new baby he is likely too busy right now to hang out here so new comments are just blowing into the wind.
