I had too many, and the idea of having them serviced (some for the second time) seemed expensive. Sold here on OF and elsewhere, these are part of the purge. are

I don’t regret selling these two because they went to good homes, but they were clearly among my favorites:
1959 Seamaster 2996 “Seachero”:

1971 Speedmaster Professional 145.022:

Probably this Delano, which I bought and then sold on to a fellow OF member

Don't even have a picture, but I had a Submariner bought in 2006. Looking back, it was (barely) the last of the true Submariners compared to the literal over-polished, wrist-jewelry abortions that Rolex is peddling now. I wish I had kept it but who knew Rolex was going to run their IP into the ground so hard and on top of it, make it nearly impossible to buy their watches.

I once had a 120 beater. I really miss that one. Although I've sold a couple of pristine 120's, this is the one I miss the most.

Sold a pristine early Heuer Carrera 2447S once, a decision I deeply regret 🤔

Nice idea for a thread. I am very bad at letting go but these both went south in part exchange for a Trinity 57 Seamaster.
The 3220 was getting a challenge for my eyesight and I only got the Speedy to check out the new box and also as I hate changing straps and bracelets. I am still happy with the swap.

Tank must. Great watch but the competition for wrist time was too fierce.

If that’s what he dumped, what he kept must be incredible.
