Gold Square Omega - Any Info Appreciated

I purchased this watch on Ebay in September of 2017.
It was represented as being from 1965 with a 620 manual wind Caliber movement.
Serial No. 22963674
The case was described as 18K solid gold.
Reference was described as 111.029
Dimensions 29 x 29.5 x 6.5 mm

I have never worn it as it is quite small. Probably more suited to a woman's wrist.
It did not come with a box or papers.
The images are from the Ebay listing, I have never opened it.

My questions...
  • does it appear to be genuine?
  • does it appear to be original?
  • any estimates of current value?

I am certainly not an expert collector, more of a dabbler and probably going to move some along so any information is appreciated.
Thanks
Terry

Looks very small, even for a lady's watch, so even if it legit probably limited value other than for melt value if it is real gold. If you google the number in the case back you may not see much.

Genuine, a rare item as you don't see very many at all.
18K gold case was made for Omega by Manufacture Favre & Perret SA, La Chaux-de-Fonds.

it is a very elegant watch in superb condition - but not a collector's watch. As to value, as it is 18k gold it has melt value but it would be a pity to scrap it. If you took it to a gold buyer you would likely get significantly lower than its actual gold value (they have to make a living, but some are pretty unscrupulous).

If you are going to sell it, I suggest you look for an upmarket auction house that would include it in a good jewellery sale, as it would appeal to ladies with an eye for something unusual and attractive. A good jewellery auction house would like its design and condition.

My wife would love it, but already has enough watches....

Amazing condition, this may be one of those rare occasions when a ladies watch is worth more than the scrap value.
